Course reviews
Practical, well explained
The course was very practical and I could implement what I learnt immediately.
Great introduction to the topic
I found the course very valuable to introduce myself to the topic of writing for the Web. I think, anyway, it may be useful also for people already working in the field so as to test their knowledge and skills and, in case, to refresh them.
Easy to follow and thorough
A great, quick course to give you an overview of writing for the web. I did it as prep for a job interview and it definitely gave me confidence to sell myself on the points learnt in the course. A must do.
A great course to focus your writing.
The overall experience was great and the course itself is solid! My workplace had some technical issues with access and Contented's support was able to sort that out; they went out of their way to make sure I was able to access the course, even through the current pandemic. The course might seem to use "dated" materials, but I didn't find it bothersome; the advice and examples are still applicable, regardless of the apparent age of the examples. As a public servant, the course is also valuable because a lot of agencies have an approach to their content that owes more to the late 90's and early 2000's, rather than the current time. While agency Communications teams are up to date, many of the Content Creators aren't a part of a Comms team and need a refresher in terms of how to reach the audience of today, not 20 years ago.
